One safe way to
pay for work.

On Nnarksup you pay through a Project. That is an agreement where you pay in stages. Money is set aside for each stage and only released when that part of the work is done and checked. It is how every payment on Nnarksup works.

How a project works

Four things that are always true

A Project is not a template you turn on. These four rules hold for every agreement on Nnarksup, from a simple two-step delivery to a long, multi-step build.

Paid in stages

Split the work into steps, called milestones. Each step has its own task, payee, amount, and proof it needs. You never pay for everything at once.

Money set aside per step

You put the full amount in up front. It is then set aside one step at a time. A step's money only moves once that work is signed off.

Paid only with proof

Money is released only when the work is proven. That means uploaded documents, photos, or a check by our people on the ground. Not just a promise or one click.

From draft to active

A project starts as a draft you can shape and agree on. It goes active once the money is ready and everyone's role is set. Every change is recorded.

How a milestone moves

Pending → In-Progress → Under-Review → Approved

Each step moves through its own stages. Its money stays set aside the whole time and is only paid out at Approved. A colour and a word show the stage together.

  1. 01Pending

The work is agreed and the money is set aside. Work has not started yet.

  2. 02In-Progress

The payee is doing the work for this step.

  3. 03Under-Review

Proof is sent in: documents, photos, or a check on site.

  4. 04Approved

Signed off. The money for this step is paid to the payee.

How money is held and paid out

Money moves only when work is proven

You put money in, and it is set aside for a step. It is paid to the payee only after the proof is signed off. Every step along the way is recorded.

  1. Available

    Money in your wallet

The money sits in the payer's wallet, ready to use.

  2. Locked

    Set aside for a step

The amount for that step is set aside and held safely.

  3. Under-Review

    Proof and sign-off

Proof is sent in and checked against what was agreed.

  4. Released

    Paid out

Once approved, the money is sent to the payee. Recorded.
